  • Pro-choice and Christianity

While driving today, I was behind an SUV with a bumper sticker that read

    U can't be both Christian and Pro-choice

Why can't you? I am pro-choice, but it depends on the situation. I feel everyone woman has the right to choice to have an abortion if she wants too. That being said, I don't feel that woman who use abortion as birth control should have them. Use REAL birth control first, then if you get pregnant that can become a choice, but if you are so irresponsible that you didn't use anything that I take issue with that. I also believe that rape and molestation victims definitely have the right to an abortion.

Where do I fall on the faith line? That's where it gets fuzzy, I am spiritual but not religious, I believe but don't go to any church. Am I Christian, I guess that depends on how you would define one.

So what about anyone else, can you be both Christian and pro-choice, why or why not?
